Fortnite Pump Shotgun Base Dmg

Especially this meta when there is no traps, I get people in my box all the time. Example: I had 150 health, blue pump and my guy had 100 health grey tac. He came in my box and double tapped me when I had time to hit body shot. To be honest I liked Fortnite more when pumps had damage. Any thoughts on this meta and shotgun situation?

Ever since Fortnite Battle Royale’s release, Epic Games has made it clear that the experience is a work in progress. Things will be constantly changing through the addition of new weapons and the developers will consistently tweak elements to keep the matches fun and fair.

To that point, Epic Games is preparing a limited time mode called Shooting Test #1 that will make some major changes to the way certain weapons work in Fortnite Battle Royale. Rather than introduce sweeping changes and ruin the experience, Epic is using this mode as an opportunity to see how players respond and then go from there.

According to Epic, there are two main goals with the first pass at tweaking shooting. Number one is that first shot accuracy should be present at all times. Bloom is likely still going to influence bullet trajectory after multiple shots but when standing still, aiming, or if you haven’t fired in a while the first bullet should land right at the reticule. There won’t be any guessing game with this new concept, though; a player’s reticule will glow red when they have first shot accuracy active.

Avast security for mac. Secondly, Epic is making some key changes to damage values on select weapons so that players don’t rely on one or two weapons at any distance. The first big tweak as part of that is a nerf to shotgun headshot damage by 100%. Originally, shotguns would deliver 250% critical damage when hitting an opponent in the head but now they will only deliver 150% damage. Whether this will make it so a pump shotgun doesn’t insta-kill a full health and full shield player is unclear, but it should make longer range shotgun kills less frequent.

Alongside shotguns, all other weapons in Fortnite Battle Royale now crit for 200% damage instead of 250% damage like it was before. On top of that, there will be damage falloff for auto rifles, pistols, and submachine guns, but it will vary based on the weapon class. The more range a weapon should have then the further a player can get full damage before it is reduced. At max falloff, each weapon will deliver 70% of their base damage.

Overall, the Shooting Test #1 changes sound like they will give seasoned Fortnite Battle Royale players more to consider when engaging opponents. Gunfights should also feel a little more fair, even if there will still be an element of RNG to whether bullets hit their targets at certain range. But keep in mind this is just a test and is not going to be part of the main game. Epic will see what works and what doesn’t based on feedback from this limited time mode and then things may change in the main game.

Fortnite Battle Royale is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Google Sheet of the Comparisons

Apr 23, 2016  A shy duelist stumbles upon the legendary Red Eyes Black Dragon, with that card in his possession, he must learn to bring out his confidence to duel. Imagine Yu-Gi-Oh!, condensed into about 5 minutes. That's what this is. Yugi, Jaden and Yusei must travel through time and team up to save a children's card game. https://natgol.netlify.app/the-dark-side-of-dimension-dmg.html.

Things to note:

These are just rough comparisons of the base stats and dps (without factoring crits), to get a good idea of what's good to look at. Certain weapons are better for certain playstyles and jobs, like whether you want the most out of burst dps, overall dps factoring reload, range/spread, or impact.

Dragoon's half multiplier is due to it actually always having half it's damage/impact from direct weapon tests, even though the UI and older stats on the sites saying otherwise. Now FortniteDB shows it's actual halved values that reflect the ingame tests, but the UI ingame still shows the doubled value.

My favorite shotgun is still the Ground Pounder, which got a sizable buff. Room Sweeper performs very well now, but it consumes ammo way too fast for my liking… But it's a fun weapon to use. Longarm Enforcer and the Nightclaw are now much more usable, while having good range and spread. Founder's Deconstructor is now a very hard hitting pump, being able to roll Dmg/Cr/Cd/Dmg.

Vindertech Disintegrator is also really nice for an aoe shotgun that has fairly good range on the projectiles, while the Pulsar still does its job but now has some competition.

One fun suggestion for heroes to use that I enjoy using with shotguns, is Urban Assault Headhunter. Getting her stacks from headshots quickly due to the nature of pellets on shotguns, she can go from 0-5 stacks very quickly. It's a bit of a meme with Room Sweeper's firerate, but it makes slow pump shotguns like the Longarm and Founder's Deconstructor much more usable.

5 Headshots would be a good perk for pellet shotguns if it weren't for bodyshots resetting it, and no good visual cue for when it procs. But for something like a Popshot, if it ever does go off at point blank against bosses, lots of dps. I just stick with Snare when I have the choice.

Something something thanks for coming to my TED Talk, I hope you'll enjoy using the new buffed shotguns like I have.

Browning firearms

TL;DR Most shotguns are good now.
