Submachine Gun Overview

Weapon Traits

Excellent at Close Range

In close combat, Submachine Guns can easily gun down enemies with their high damage per second and extremely fast fire rate. Can i run dmg file on windows 9.

Ineffective at Long Range

Due to its damage dropoff and bullet spray, Submachine Guns become less effective the longer the range. At mid-range, it can still be effective but it won't deal as much damage as up close.

Easy to Use

Submachine Guns are a point and shoot type of weapon. It's easy enough to be used by both beginners and veterans alike.

Weapon Tips

Close the Distance

Submachine Guns work best when engaging enemies at close quarters. Use another weapon as you close the distance to your target then switch to a Submachine Gun to deal high burst damage when in range.

Manage your Ammo

Submachine Guns can easily burn through your ammo supplies due to their fast fire rate. Either carry another weapon as backup or shoot in controlled bursts to save ammo.

The Fortnite Battle Royale challenges for the third week of Season 8 have been released, and players now have a cheat sheet map to help them with completing the objectives.

As is usually the case every week, content creator 'TheSquatingDog' has released a Fortnite visual guide that details exactly where players need to go on the map to complete this week's challenges.

There are, of course, seven challenges in total, three of which are available to all players for free while the remaining four are reserved only for those who have purchased the Season 8 Battle Pass.

As far as the free challenges go, there are two three-part objectives, one involving players visiting certain named points-of-interest and the other requiring a certain number of Cacti to be destroyed.

As for the Battle Pass challenges, the requirements involve searching for a magnifying glass, opening Chests, dealing headshot damage, and getting eliminations with certain weapons.

One of this week's Fortnite challenges is to destroy Cacti in the desert biome area of the map.
