1 Dmg Vs 1h Cri

There is only one option - abyssus. This is BiS for melee crit characters. It provides a LOT of crit multi, and flat phys dmg, which is important for flicker. Best ench will be chance to gain frenzy charge on kill for bloodrage. It upgrades our chance to frenzy on kill from 25% to 55%! Well, we have 4 options. Shield skills: -Shield charge applies a lot of impact dmg and confusion, confusion increases impact dmg from attacks, maces deal the most impact dmg of any 1h weapon (they even deal more impact than some equivalent 2h weapons) - Gong Strike requires an infused weapon, Mace Infusion provides. Aug 13, 2015  Depends if ur crit of course, a 300pdps 1h sword for a non crit build vs say a 225 pdps high crit dagger, u might even out dps the sword with a dagger like that. A decent binos is around 240 ad that thing can demolish the game. With crit u need that extra crit chance roll so, in its own way its sort of like a 300 pdps non crit weapon in terms.

Giving double strike after first combat dmg full. This guide will serve as a Character Stat Introduction in MapleStory M.Character growth, equipment, and consumable items all affect the rates at which a character's stats increase, including Attack (ATK) and Defense (DEF).

  • Combat Power (CP)

Shows the overall efficiency of your character. It is affected by the job, ATK (the one that the job uses), PHY DEF, MAG DEF, HP and Crit ATK, as follows approximately: ((ATK+CritATK/5)×(HP)×(Constant) Boot camp assistant 4 dmg.

  • Combat power is directly proportional to HP, affected by HP%.
  • It is also directly proportional to your assumed ATK (ATK including 20% of Crit ATK), not affected by ATK% or Crit Rate/Dmg)
  • Different jobs will have a different base constant (as of now bowmaster seems to have the lowest base).
  • DEF of both types will increase the constant by a small amount, not affected by DEF%.
  • For the exact same stats, a higher level character will have a lower CP. However, levelling will also provide a small amount of ATK and HP which will offset this (if your equipments are not too strong, otherwise stats are still gained but CP will drop), as well as MP that does not affect CP.
  • Damage is directly proportional to PHY/MAG ATK (depending on job) and not CP (shown as ATK in game).
  • Attack
    • Affects the character's attack abilities, as follows: (ATK) × (1+ATK%/100) × (1+DMG%/100) × (Skill%)/100
    • Inflict stronger attacks on enemies when you level up the following stats:
      • Boss ATK Increase (Boss Attack) - Increases damage to boss monsters by a certain percentage. Added to ATK%.
      • Player ATK Increase (Player Attack) - Increases damage to a player by a certain percentage. Added to ATK%.
      • ATK (Attack) - ATK the character possesses. (applies to PHY and MAG)
      • PHY ATK - Physical Attack
      • MAG ATK - Magic Attack
      • Skill Min ATK Rate - The basic attack rate of a skill.
      • Skill Efficiency - Increases ATK rate by a certain percentage.
      • PHY ATK Increase - Increases PHY ATK by a certain percentage.
      • MAG ATK Increase - Increases MAG ATK by a certain percentage.
      • PHY DMG Increase - Further increases PHY DMG by a certain percentage.
      • MAG DMG Increase - Further increases MAG DMG by a certain percentage.
      • Crit Rate - Increases the success rate of a critical hit. Critical Rate increases with your character level, at a decreasing rate.
      • Crit DMG - Increases DMG by a certain percentage when it is a critical hit.
      • Crit ATK - Critical Attack - Increases the amount of ATK when it is a critical hit. Added to ATK.
  • Hit Chance
    • Affects the chance of landing a hit successfully on an enemy. It is affected by Accuracy and Penetration Rate.
      • Accuracy (ACC) - Increases the chance of an attack landing on the opponent. It increases with your character level, at a decrrasing rate.
      • Penetration Rate (PEN rate) - Increases the fixed chance of penetrating (piercing a block) the opponent's evasion to land a hit on it.

[TIP] What jobs rely on PHY ATK? Which ones rely on MAG ATK?PHY ATK-based characters and MAG ATK-based characters have different jobs, so make sure you check beforehand!Jobs that rely on PHY ATK: Dark Knight, Bowmaster, Night LordJobs that rely on MAG ATK: Bishop, Captain Euro truck simulator 2 multiplayer.

  • Defense
    • Defense affects a character's ability to withstand damage inflicted by enemies and bosses.
    • Damage received from enemy attacks is reduced by increasing the following stats, as follows: [(Base Enemy Damage) - (DEF) × (0.1+DEF%/1000)] × (1-DMG Decrease%/100)
      • Boss DEF - Increases your DEF against boss monsters' attacks. Added to DEF%.
      • Player DEF - Increases your DEF against other players' attacks. Added to DEF%.
      • DEF (Stat) - DEF the character possesses (applies to PHY and MAG).
      • PHY DEF - Decreases DMG received from enemies' PHY ATK.
      • MAG DEF - Decreases DMG received from enemies' MAG ATK.
      • PHY DEF Increase - Increases PHY DEF by a certain percentage.
      • MAG DEF Increase - Increases MAG DEF by a certain percentage.
      • PHY DMG Decrease - Further decreases PHY DMG received by a certain percentage.
      • MAG DMG Decrease - Further decreases MAG DMG received by a certain percentage.

    • These are character stats that are unrelated to ATK and DEF.
      • HP (stat) - Hit Points. A character's health.
      • MP (stat) - Mana Points. A character's mana.

What's considered 'decent' damage for a one hander to have on it when hitting lvl 70?

100 is vendor material.
200 can sell for 1-5 chaos and is 'decent' enough for levelling.
300 can sell for a couple Ex and is absoultely lategame-viable.
400+ gets insanely expensive, 500+ is mirror-territory.

In these cases,
Are you guys talking about the dmg stat on the weapon, or the dps.
How do i work out dps on a weapon? (say it has 90- 150 phys, 45 - 85 ele ?
My math is as good as the average two year old (or lower)

Talking dps.
Generally I am only concerned with physical dps unless the build is specifically designed to scale elemental damage.
To calculate physical dps add the weapon's minimum and maximum damages then divide this number by two. Multiply that number by the attacks per second.
[(Min+max)/2]*aps
If you are interested in the elemental damage as well just add that in when you are adding up the physical damages.

ya, generally speaking tho you either count the pure elemental dps or the pure physical. Even if you are an elemental build that is scaling off physical like lightning strike + phys to lightning so you end up with 100% lightning or whatever.. the lightning roll on your weapon still isnt really worth its number in dps compared to the phys because you are scaling physical damage on your tree most likely then converting it, so even if ur scaling the elemental too after the phys, the fact the raw lightning on the weapon isnt getting any benefit from that initial % increased physical damage or adding to the % extra damage as elemental from hatred/phys to lightning/added fire etc makes it far weaker.
Its not worthless, but if you have 200 dps physical and 50 dps lightning that in no way is = to a 250 dps pure physical weapon. Its nice to have, but basically think in terms of a weapon either being pure phys or pure elemental and disregard the other bit when evaluating what you are looking at i the majority of cases. If its a choice between 250 pdpds and 250 pdps + 50 edps then sure, get the one with the extra elemental bit because every little helps.
I feel like 200-250 physical dps is a decent map clearing weapon, I could count on 1 hand the amount of 1 handers Ive ever found with 300+ physical dps, seems like I find maybe 1 for every 2k hours I play.

'Find', yes. I also found exactly one 300 DpS weapon in my entire PoE career.

(think I never even used it for anything)
But obtaining one via trade is not an impossible task.
Sooner or later, you get your 1-2 ex together, and the first thing to spend cash on is generally a good weapon, since it is the easiest way to do more damage.
So once I enter midlevel maps, I generally want more than a 200-250 dps onehander.

ya for sure, if you are serious about a character and want to put in a lot of hours with it a 300pdps 1h weapon is absolutely something you can work towards and achieve, theyre not cheap but theyre not crazy expensive either.

thats the best sword I found, not that I use it as I traded for a better one, seems like you can always trade for something better than uve found tbh. I found a 300pdps siege axe once, sold it for some exalts, honestly it wasnt a lot of cash if youre willing to save up a bit I think most people can get one.
If you find a 250pdps 1h tho, its probably the best 1h uve found in a few months, thats a strong find.

800 is decent .

it depends on a build and it depends A LOT
general rule of 100/200/300 is true, however a 250pdps dagger/claw with high crit/multi and aspd is way better than slow 300 or even 350pdps one without these rolls
good news - one CAN roll a decent, end-game viable (in the non-minmax meaning) weapon using transmute good roll, regal, multimod add missing stuff
second good news is that end-game viable weapons are easily available as uniques and the most interesting one is this:
it has around 300pdps + insane elemental roll + other nice stats. it is probably the best weapon in this price range you can get. from what i can see it is now cheaper than multimod fee (2ex) so you cannot go wrong with it
